Really enjoyed this presentation of the production of Murano glass art. Our presentation lasted about 30 mins and the guy made a pitcher and a swan. He also demonstrated blowing up glass to a balloon and then popping it which was cool. The setting is out of the sun which was nice. Probably 30 people in the audience. There is a small set of bleachers and some high top seating to the side. The rates were affordable and there was a cocktail add-on for adults which was really nice. There is plenty of glass to buy and a small bar. Our whole party really enjoyed it. Maybe only downside was one of the speakers talking about the process was going in and out so couldn’t hear it all. But overall a great experience. Fun for all ages.
The glass blowing show at The Glass Cathedral was so cool and informative! Loved watching the artist make a bowl and a figurine. Honestly one of my favorite experiences in Venice!
I wasn't sure if I should come here, but I'm happy I did. The glass blowing show was absolutely mind-blowing. It was 25min long and highly recommend goinng here
We followed the recommendation of a travel blog and went there for the Murano Glass demonstration. Staff was friendly, atmosphere is nice (you can order drinks while watching). I got a bit frustrated because the demonstration was more a performance than something to learn more about the materials and traditions, but good place overall to rest and have some drinks.
Amazing Experience, Highly Reccomended! Friendly staff and great setting in a 12th Century Cathedral! Get a stiff drink here it just adds to experience!
Had a great time! Watch him make 3 things. Good music and atmosphere.
Absolutely blown away to be in the presence of artisan masters, who make it seem so effortless. Beautiful venue wonderful presentation.
If you are going to watch artisan glass blowing in Murano I would greatly consider the Santa Chiara glass cathedral. Chic lounge-like atmosphere with the only electric furnace on Murano (according to them).
